We have rain here. What?? Late February.

Steve- I'll also bring Cathy's MiFi so we can keep Jim on a low simmer in case the Lodge's internet craps out.

Thanks, guys! Just get T-Mobile to put a tower up down there - I'll bring my own wifi... Never mind - that isn't going to happen...

I don't remember any problems with the wifi before - just surprised it took them so long to figure out what the problem was.

Seems to me,the blue rs is most always lying on its side in the grass in the front yard, not where the kitchen table should be?
Just saying!

Well said Keith!

I believe the first time we met, your bike was lying on its side by one of the cabins- the 2 Kiwis were with me.

But yes, it wasn't indoors. Laughing

See you soon.

Well I somehow forgot that unfortunate incident.I think it was my 1st hm trip!
And for the rider that wants to paint his bike,be careful of that cause I just had some "bad luck" and a co- worker backed into my bike and knocked it over so I got new parts and had fresh paint and went to HM-3 I think and my bike sunk down in fresh asphalt, fell over!
BUT I was thinking of Gwyn's lying in the grass when she had oil pickup tube problems and said it was easier to see while its laying on its side! Remember those pics.?

Working on the bike today, I finally installed the 4 hole injectors I bought last fall so i have a set of 4 injectors with less than 17,000 miles on them. Anyone need them, I can bring them to HM, or I'll sell them on eBay.

Do 4 hole injectors make the bike go 4 times faster? Or make it use 4 times more gas?

SugarHill claimed the injectors. I do have a smattering of other parts to bring.

I don't know if they will make it 4 times faster, but expecting a little gain performance wise. I get the body work back Monday, will have to balance the throttle bodies before I put it together completely. Running out of time, was in London last week for business, will be on a cruise next week, then 3 weeks to HM?

The 20 or so pounds I lost will probably have the most performance impact.

Hey HM'ers....

Here it is with just a month to go and I DO NOT have 4 or 5 feet of ice/snow to hack through I order to get bikes "up and ready" ! Don't know if it's "climate change" or not, but if this keeps up we'll be riding to HM for Christmas!! Anybody else as ready as I am.?

Regards all... ride safe.... / Ernie in NH

Hey Ernie.

Just some mud up here but as you know we could be digging out next week.

Just started work on my K-RS- we'll see if I am on it for HM or riding something else.

Very Happy Very Happy

I was trying to remember how many trailers there were last year, and wondering if that will continue to be the vogue at HM? I know at one point it looked like a "used trailer" Sales lot.. It could very well be that next year I'll have to trailer also. The "K" is getting heavier every year on these aging bones... At any rate it's almost time again and i know we're all just as "stoked as Steve"...!

Regards all.... Trailer or not, Ride Safe.... / Ernie in NH

I think there were 5, or course Gwen's was big enough for 6 bikes. I'm planning to trailer, since I'm making three stops on the way up to see clients. It also lets me bring a huge amounts of tools and spare parts to get rid of.

We will also be with trailer as Mrs_Underscore can't take that many miles on the back of a bike.

I was planning on riding my ??? down to HM, but as of today winter has reappeared. Had 5 degrees for the last 2 nights.

I'll be there but it might be on 4 wheels carrying a bike.

BUT less than 3 weeks. Cool.

I am so looking forward to a few days in the mountains on a bike. Work has gotten crazy busy, my schedule is now out past HM and I can't keep up...

The bike has new RP4Trails on ready for the twisties, new sintered brake pads, all fluids changed, throttle valve adjustments and valve shim adjustments complete, she's running right and ready to roll!

No trailer for me, I'll be riding up, but with only a 365 mile ride I'm not bragging.

Looking forward to seeing all you FF's up there!
