Lately while driving my Rev Counter sticks at the then current revs and stays there for several minutes after which it just picks up again and adjusts itself to the current rev range.
It this a matter of cleaning up the connector at the back of the Instrument Housing or is the Rev Counter or pick up on it's way out? _________________ “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! Try and look real close at the printed plate, it's not been unheard of on our older bikes for that plate to warp a tad bit(from sun exposure) and cause the needle to stick.
Not saying that it can't be electrical, but I'd be surprised. You can always disconnect the electrical plugs and clean them with some de-oxit electrical cleaner, just to eliminate that potential. _________________ Ride safe.
