My heart bleeds for you at that price . When I bought mine just on two years ago the jacket was over a grand and the daks were around 700. |
All relative, I suppose.....

Worth it for the quality? Maybe..... _________________ John & Cathy

Well I guess each to their own, my K12rs cost me far more than my mainly bmw clothing which I got cheap on fleabay.
I have flow thru gear for hot weather with zip off to shorts convertables.
I got intermediate gear for inbetween warm weather.
For cold weather got the HGeriche goretex suit with storm collar and warmth inserts;
Same in gloves.
Good thing about the bmw gloves are that they have a left index finger rubber screen wiper which is a life saver.
My 50aud Aldi wet weather gear is the best I have had and keeps me dry over the top of my Hein Geriche riding suit.
I self-certify as FIT n SANE  |

Hi guys....
I guess if you've got the 'moo-la' maybe $1300 or more for a riding suit is right on... BUT if you've hardly go the pot to piss in, that's a LOT of scratch ! At less than $100 USD, the cheezy ill fitting 'frog toggs" that I have do leave one with an occasional soggy bottom,, HOWEVER the $1200 saved will buy appx 324 US-Gal. of gasoline, which on my "K" or 'ol R100/7 translates into more than 14.5Kmiles of 2-wheel contentment !
Have fun in those leathers guys....they DO look great !

Ernie is generous;

They sure do!!
Just gotta watch the leathers in warm to sub tropical conditions as it moulds like crazy.... ...
Nothing looks a good as leather, I reckon, and it slides on the roadway to boot.
Can stretch in the knees and butt and elbows and sort of sag there looking kinda saggy when you are not on the bike in riding position.. ..
But if you spent all that loot on the stuff enjoy enjoy enjoy
I enjoy even if I do look a bit of a dag..
As Alfred E Newman says.."what ME worry?"
All the best from rainy again mid east coast oz |
