QUESTION about Works shock.
This is for those of you that do some 2-up riding.
Do you adjust the shock preload for the difference in weight 1-up vs. 2-up?
My primary concern is having to sit there and use a hook spanner to SLOWLY move the threaded adjuster up and down the body each time.
Or does everyone find a compromise preload setting between the two weights?
ESA is starting to look very attractive _________________ John & Cathy

You only set the sag once, when you install the shock and set it for your weight. Once set, you can adjust the pre-load by turning a lever that selects different springs (four) that handle the extra weight for passenger, baggage. Works very well, I've found. You can change the preload without tools or removing bags. Just takes a few seconds.
Has anyone checked to see if they have a website? Maybe more info there. |

Don,
Good info.
I went to their site which sort-of explained it like you did. They could make their descriptions much better.
But I am satisfied that this would be a good shock for us.
Thanks again.

Your quite welcome, John.
I'm sure you'll be happy with their product(s).
Don't forget to ask for Tom and drop my name for a discount. They may have a deal for K1100OG anyway but I'm not sure.
I tried their front springs too in my previous LT. Very nice also.
A lot less money but not as easy to install.
I have another set still in the box to install in my current bike. I just have to get around to it.
