OK...the ABS never worked on this bike...had two solid lights, not even flashing...
After trying all the easy stuff...I took a chance on an eBay ABS unit from another K11RS...
Scored it just before Christmas for $99.00 bucks...no other bidders...it was labeled something funny from a salvage place and I don't think it turned up in normal searches...
So...put it in last weekend and hey, hey, nah, nah...all good... _________________ Bob T.

Bob,
As you know the ABS systems on K11 bikes will drive you NUTS.
Good on you to find a fix for your problem.
I almost always expect an ABS I fault every time I start. Sold my K1100RS, went to an '09 Kaw Concours then back to my current K100RS.
But I kept the #2 to ground jumper.
May it never come out of my tankbag.
Best of luck with your ABS.

Bob T, isn't it a great feeling when a plan comes together !
Congratulations on finding a fix before you tore all your hair out !!
Now, just for fun of course ,you can investigate the problem with your original unit, and educate the rest of us in a subsequent post.......... _________________ 1993(94 MODEL) K1100RS IN ASTRAL BLUE
