I stuck my nose near the oil filler on the block and took a smell. I don't really know why but i did and was suprised by the smell of what reminds me of alcohol . Has anyone else smelt there bike and had that happen? My girl thinks im weird for smellin the old brick i call it bonding....  |

I think Bikes are like people, you never really know just how they smell till ya get real close........

Could be you have a leak up front where most of the water is and it is getting blown back near the back of the engine. Get a flashlight and look at hoses up front and high (including radiator cap) after the the engine has been running a while.
