Good morning Daryl...
I dont know about the "red/green", but the "green/yellow" is part of the "engine kill switch" circuit which also allows power to the fuel pump relay. Like Gwen, I suspect the "green/yellow" may also be in the loop which includes the 'side stand' switch. Like Gwen, I also have long ago disabled that switch so cant say definitively.
There is a colored schematic on the German Support web page... someone will send you that link very shortly I'm sure. In the meantime, I'll look it up and send you the link also, just in case.
Good luck............// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Pick the Motronic unit which you have and select. If you have any problems with the language or the definitions, let me know and I will translate whatever you need..

Disabling the ss switch is a good idea, but a warning that it is still down would be valuable. I know that it will retract if it is down and a left corner comes, but the one time it doesn't........
I'm thinking of bypassing the switch but wiring the switch to the unused "choke" light in the instruments. From what I have read, the bulb is there (?) and the wiring terminates under the tank. Anyone know for sure? _________________ John & Cathy

Just add a normally closed relay triggered by the side stand switch so it puts 12V to the blue/white wire coming out of the bulb monitor unit when not grounded. That will light up the BMU light in the cluster until you put the stand up. That's how I have my RS rigged.
The side stand always comes up on a left turn. Might screw up your line a bit though. DAMHIK. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks guys
Good idea to put a warning light for the stand and Ernie the colour diagram helps. Someone had already disconnected the switch but only put tape around the wires so I wanted to do a proper job
