While I'm replacing the fuel pump, I'd like to replace the filter and inside fuel lines. They don't look like normal fuel lines, that would be used on the outside of the tank. Where can I buy them??? Thanks _________________ Lifes too short to ride an ugly Motorcycle |

Most auto parts stores will have them. You need the kind of hose that is designed to be submersed in gasoline - maybe all of them are now. _________________ Jim

Thanks, I ask at the local Advance auto, and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about. I'm wondering if regular gas line is safe to use... _________________ Lifes too short to ride an ugly Motorcycle |

Since most, if not all vehicles have the fuel pump in the gas tank, it should not be difficult to find fuel hose that will work - it needs to be submersible and have the proper pressure rating. The chain stores might not stock it. _________________ Jim

The dealer sells the hose for reasonable money. I replaced mine this winter. _________________ Paul

The hose number you are looking for is SAE 30R10. This is the submersible hose. 30R9 is fuel injector hose but is not submersible. _________________ Rich

I found some online @ Euro moto electrics. They cost $15.00 and are on the way. Thanks everyone for your input. Kenny... _________________ Lifes too short to ride an ugly Motorcycle |
