I figured that he bought the cap and they threw in the bike.
Nice ride there Sean. Looking forward to seeing it in person. _________________ Ride safe.

Thanks for the support, everyone
First impressions of this bike have surpassed all expectations. Gobs of refined power... there's no doubt it's a BMW...
Maybe it's just me, but despite the absence of the brick engine, the K-bike lineage is still apparent... I feel very comfortable with the change.
I have the 600 mile service scheduled for this Friday... then break-in limitations will be a thing of the past, and I'll get to stretch it's legs a bit more.
And yes, the cap was a freebee
More soon... |

I dunno... There's something incongruous about a 'Stich and a K12S. I think you need some custom leathers, rydor. Something like these guys:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uEqKD_VvM0&NR=1
Oh, and sweet ride! Although it is sad to say good-bye to the Interlagos Blue RS. Were you able to salvage some of the stickers? If you didn't want to put them on the K12S, FD would probably take them off your hands...
...and resell them on e-bay for a profit. _________________ tlp

That's commercial cracks me up. How often do you see cruiser riders wearing full leather race suits (in white, no less) and FF helmets? _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Apparently, neanderthals are less bound by motorcycle culture social constructs than homo sapiens.
Some have been known to ride BMW's WITHOUT helmets. _________________ tlp
