2001 Triumph TT600...
7400 miles, one owner, all stock, all TSBs done by dealer, real nice shape, freshly serviced, new front tire...
Fun, surprisingly comfortable and very yellow...

Bob,
Very nice "new" ride. Looks like FUN.
Don't know much about non-current Triumphs- is that a triple? _________________ John & Cathy

Inline four....first I4 600 super sport bike with fuel injection....
They could never compete with Japanese 600s for power, but they have superior suspension and brakes....
Only made for three years.... _________________ Bob T.

That Triumph is a real head-turner and I bet a real blast on the curves. Have fun and be careful out there! _________________

Lucky for me, we don't have curves in these parts.... _________________ Bob T.

Probably lucky you don't have any corners there, mate of mine just bought a Street Triple, he has dropped it twice in carparks now. Seems the steering lock is about half what it is on every other bike ever made. A real trick to watch out for!! Nice bike despite that and it doesn't help the owner is about the same height as Paris Hilton lying down.....picky below:-

Never tried any of the triples...I didn't notice any issue with the turning stops on this bike...
Seems normal to me...at least compared to my other bikes...
I've been riding for almost 40 years and never rode anything like this...
I am lovin' it....
Put a set of sport bike bags on it last night and rode to work today... _________________ Bob T.

Maybe it's just a Street Triple thing, the Triumph forums have a lot of people moaning about the same liimited lock causing them to drop it in the car park. _________________ K1100RS '97

Same or worse on Ducati Monsters.
Any 600 inline 4 a is ball to ride, even if your Triumph is not at Japanese power levels- (which are kinda' insane anyway) _________________ John & Cathy

I know exactly what you mean Ernie. My bonneville gave me a waterproof left boot from doing its self oil changing act out of the primarary chain case. . Every ride was an adventure, as I never quite knew if I would get there!!.
Its really nice to see the modern Triumphs doing well, and that looks a really smart bike.
So there is still a bit of Brit influence on the world, even if it is only someone collapsing in a carpark thousands of miles away .
Can we have our empire back now please.
Cheers.

You mean the empire built by Lucas? (I used to own an early 70's Land Rover- the REAL Land Rover)
There's that old joke about why you folks like warm beer.........
Seriously, the latest offerings from Triumph do look good. _________________ John & Cathy
