Can anyone provide the part number for the "Z" shaped crankcase breather hose? _________________ Rod Kilduff

You can buy the OEM BMW one for $15 to $25 from a dealer (BMW# 11151460480) or buy basically the same thing from BeemerBoneyard for $10
Make sure to buy small hose clamps (BMW#11151460935) if your current ones are one-use or munged up. _________________

I'm wrong more often than I'm right, but the z-hose on Beemerboneyard doesn't mention the K11, and the picture doesn't look like the hose on my K11.

Larry and Ted,
It would appear that you are correct, that is a K100 part number, and the Beemer Boneyard picture looks different from the one shown on the parts diagram.
I did locate another part number for the K1100: 11151461835
This appears identical in the parts diagram to one the Ted provided.
But All of these parts refer to a vent hose at the Back of the engine.
I thought that there was another vent hose in the Front of the engine that goes into the air box? I can't verify this as my bike is still assembled and I hadn't planned to take it apart until winter. Am I wrong about that one?
In the Engine Block Mounting parts diagram there is shown another Vent Pipe in the front of the engine (#1 but it doesn't show a hose?
I may be a little confused here? It wouldn't be the first time... _________________ Rod Kilduff
