I'm actually looking at bunking there if possible, as I sleep with a CPAP, and it may bother people in the room with 4 bunks, which is where I'd be staying. |
Gwen - we'll just put you in a room with the worst 3 snorers - no one will hear the CPAP...
Steve has cabin 1 - one room with a double bed, one room with two single beds.
There is one bed available in cabin 1, and one bed/bunk available in the lodge. _________________ Jim

Just a reminder - Marion is a modern town with grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, etc. If you need something, you can probably get it there - you don't have to have it shipped or hauled to HMSP. _________________ Jim

Sounds good to me.
Saturday breakfast ? - How about I make sausage gravy and biscuits with eggs on the side (fried or scrambled) toast & jam?
Saturday Dinner will be hamburgers on the grill with all the fixin's and deep fried anything. You bring it, we'll fry it. (Let's not try the hard stuff like chocolate or ice cream, m'kay) I'll whip up a beer batter and dusting station and we'll have fun.
For sure french fries will be there.
How's 'bout it?

We are on our way, left Vegas last night after work, made it to Kingman, AZ. I'll be posting on bikerjourneys.com - probably every other day, have some other locations to ride before we get there... _________________ Steven B

Ok, This is my best guess on the head count:
Jim
Gwen & Steve - at some point
Marian
John & Cathy - probably Jen
SteveB & Donna
Jim Berens
Steve Donlan
Ernie
Sean
Keith
Scott Anderson
Audi
BobZ(IL)
17
Somebody else figure out the bed / cabin count.

This is Cassidy Richter, My dad, Lee Richter will most likely not be going anywhere for a while. He was injured on a job on Monday of this week and has had one surgery and will likely have at least one more. Broken Ribs and punctured Right Lung. I don't know all the forums that he partisipates in so if anyone knows of other I should notify please let me know. He is a tough old bird but I don't think he will be upto riding for a while. _________________ Lee Richter

It's pretty much an all day trip for me and last year when I arrived at the lodge, everyone was at dinner.
Is the Mex Restaurant easy to find if I head downtown and search for bikes? _________________ '93 K1100LT

Bob, yes it's easy to find.
If you head towards town from the park, when you are at the 2nd stop light by the mini-mall turn left and the restraunt is just a few blocks down the street on the left. _________________ Ride safe.

Bob,
Jen and I think the restaurant is El Puerto ("The Door???").
See you there!
