Keep those photos coming, Geovar. We need to see more of that southern Europe.
I've been thinking about you lately. The economical situation triggered new popular protests close to the Parliament. How are things now in Athens?
Best regards. _________________ Carlos

Dear Carlos, the situation in Greece after the economical problems is very difficult. The political parties are one against the other and a lot of people out protesting. I hope in Portugal it is better.
Thanks for your interest

Yes and she likes it very much. Rethymnon is a small town on the north cost of Creta Island and the University Campus is situated 2-3Km out of the center, on a hill facing the Aegean Sea.
I was wondering how is possible to concentrate your self on the lessons with that extraordinary view. |

Dear George,
you have all my solidarity. I can't tell you that Portugal is much better.
The economy has reached the lowest point since I can remember. People don't have much hope in the improvement of the situation. They certainly lack faith in politicians. The only, immediate difference I see to Greece is that popular protests, here, have not turned violent yet. Maybe that's the portuguese way. We have a saying that goes "we're a country of mild ways" (habits, or traditions)". It's still true. Sometimes I guess it prevents important changes.
All the best, George! _________________ Carlos
