Hi, All,
It's been a couple of weeks or more, so I thought I should give my friends an update. I started chemotherapy 2 weeks ago. I have a pump and am getting one of the drugs 24/7. I get 2 more once every 3 weeks. In the past 2 weeks I have seen some changes. I seem to be able to eat a bit more and can keep more of it down. (A week ago I was 193 lb. and today I was 197. As a reference, last year at Hungry Lobster I was just over 250.) I do have nausea meds, but I haven't taken them much. I don't feel nauseous very often. I get tired - a lot - and frequently take a nap in the afternoon, but my doctors all tell me this is normal. I DO see and feel some progress is being made. I just want to get it over with and resume my life. I DO plan to be at HMV next May!
