I'm looking to replace the fuel injectors on my K100RS 16V, (they're the same as those fitted to the K1100).
Bosch want about £110 each but I've found that Intermotor do a direct replacement for about £25. This price compares favourably with getting the originals cleaned.
Has anyone used Intermotor injectors, or is there another alternative available? |

Look into getting them serviced instead.

I haven't, but I do rate Intermotor as a company. Been using their after market spares for years. Been taken over recently, can't remember by whom. Coils for SWMBO's Renault were £15 each instead of £45 for genuine.
Why do you think your Injectors are NBG ? never on all my K's (4th now), have I found it necessary to blame them let alone go to that trouble & expense.
Are you in the UK? You haven't posted location, but knowing of Intermotor suggests so. _________________ Regards Tim,

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to completely overhaul the bike this winter, which will include re-newing all the inlet O-rings, etc, plus getting the injectors cleaned.
After I saw the price of the Intermotor injectors, I've thought about replacing the originals with new as the difference between replacing and cleaning is not a lot.
I can always get the originals cleaned and keep them as spares.
(I'm located in France, but the post from England is quite reasonable). |

replaced the original with injectors for the Ford 300 6 banger. ibmwr.org had the replacement numbers. headed to the local napa dealer with the original and purchased all 4.
2 of the things were missing and bike was coughing,
since I sold it in 2003 to a friend and he hasn't had any problems either. Bike now has over 130,000 miles on it. I replaced them when it was 65,000 miles back in 2000 _________________ Tim Lindstrom, ab0ts
