Hi, All,
I'M OUT OF THE HOSPITAL! I'm at my daughter's, released on a liquid diet and still using a feeding tube. In a couple of weeks, I have an appointment with my oncologist and expect to go through another 9 weeks of chemotherapy. Hopefully it will find and kill any cancer cells which escaped the first chemo and the surgery. It's great to be out of the hospital and I hope I don't have to return for a long time.
Thanks for all your support and prayers. It helped, believe me. I'm looking forward to seeing a bunch of you ay HM V in May. _________________ Ride Safe,

Well done, sir! It will never be "easy" again, but it's sure better than the alternative. I'm so happy to hear you're doing well, going home, and looking up. _________________ www.tidewaterforge.com |

That's great news! Hope the rest of chemo goes well. Thank goodness for modern medicine and the efforts of medical researchers around. _________________

Hi, dwerbil,
Ironically, my daughter (with whom I'm staying) works at UTSW in a lung cancer research laboratory. Thanks for the good thoughts. _________________ Ride Safe,
