Hey everyone at K11OG!!!
Greetings and Happy 2012 to all! Been a while since I posted anything so I wanted to drop by and let y'all know am still alive, still riding. In fact I rode something particularly nice the other day, BMW's new K1600 GTL. I have to say, it has one of the sweetest, smoothest engines I've ever tested in a bike, that 6-cyl technology is amazing!
I rode for more than 1500kms over the course of a weekend, pretty much circumnavigating the peninsular (small country!) from the south, up north, across to the east and back down south again. Here's a photo of me at the Titiwangsa Mountain range somewhere up north. I wasn't even exhausted after getting back, the GTL is one seriously comfortable bike
As you can see I've kept my Motorrad riding gear, despite not having my K11 anymore, hahaha Anyway, hope you're all doing well, I do trawl through occasionally just to keep tabs with you guys Take care!
Cheers!
Chris

Chris,
Great to hear from you again. Been a while.
You picked a good bike for a long weekend in the saddle, eh?
Thanks for the picture. Stay in touch with the O.G.

Hi John! Thanks, yeah, it was a pretty sweet bike for a long weekend ride, effortless thanks to 160bhp and 175Nm of torque. It was good timing too, the weather held out (it's monsoon season here) for the whole weekend, I was lucky

Welcome back!
Great bike, the K16...
But I don't know where BMW will go, doing over-engeneering and super complicated bikes, like the K16, and soon putting water in the R12 range.
I'll keep my K11 for a little more time....
