1100 RS caps and 1100 LT caps are not interchangeable. The rear wheels are different sizes. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

If they are different sizes, it's weird then that the ebay seller in the link I posted is advertising that hub cap for both the RS and LT models. _________________ - Robert

The diameter is the same but the retaining spring clips are a different length. I bought a RT wheel, same part # as the RS wheel, and the LT retainers would not reach to secure the cap. I compared them and the LT's clip was shorter. YRMV but that's my experience. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

From looking at parts fiche the K1100LT and RS have the same PN. I am looking for a silver one not gold. _________________ 94 K1100RS |

O.K., here's the deal from what I found.
K1100LT hub cap # 36 13 2 311 276
K1100RS hub cap # 36 13 2 311 276
K1100LT wheel # 36 31 2 311 149
K1100RS wheel # 36 31 2 311 275
R1100RT wheel # 36 31 2 311 275 (looks eerily like the RS wheel #)
R1100 RT hub cap # 36 13 2 311 016 (not the same part as the RS)
I bought a RT wheel to run on the LT and the hub cap retaining clips were a different lengths but I will bow to the RealOEM.com Parts Gods. But it still makes no sense to me unless the final drives are different. Good luck! _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

Hub cap 311 016 is used on models with three spoke wheels which don`t have the center bolt mounted (only 4 bolts), that`s the reason to the longer clip.

They aren't available at Max BMW anymore but they did want $12 and change for a new one. This guy wants $16. I think I would give it to him. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
