Hello,
My name is Jeremy. I am a bicycle mechanic in St.Louis. I just got my first K-bike (kind of a Fathersday gift).
I have been without a motorcycle for about 6 years. Earlier this spring I found a 1978 Yamaha XS400 in a barn, I call her Molly. After fixing it up and riding it around for a bit my Wife said she would like to ride with me. On one of the many trips to the Yamaha dealer (conveniently located across the street from my shop) I saw they had a 1996 K1100rs for sale. I mentioned it to my wife and she suprised me with it on Monday. We decided to call her Helga.
Helga is a black and silver limited edition with 43K on the clock. It has hard bags and heated grips.
My wife and I have been enjoying riding it together and are planning a few trips.

Welcome, Jeremy.
Sounds like you found yourself a couple of keepers (the wife and the bike both).
I would nag you about posting photos of Helga, but I've never posted pics of mine, so we'll just not go there... Beemered
You've got some great roads to the south and west, for sure (I've not been north of St. L.). You'll love that Helga on the curvy ones.

Bill

Welcome!

Neat screen name.

Way cool ride. Others here will yell you the red ones are faster. Don't believe it for a second.

I always liked that black & silver.
