Shoulder/arm/hand position on the 1100?

Maybe it is you and not the bike. (not being a smart a$$- healthcare is my business)

Check, in no particular order:-
Engine bolt tightness.
Exhaust (header) missing studs & tightness.
Exhaust (Muffler) rubber mounts both of them.
Intake balance.

240 mile days are no problem for us.
Is it just your right hand ?

I forget why, but the 4 cylinder K1100 engine is much buzzier than the 3 cylinder K75 engine due to a design difference. Maybe the K75 has a counterweighted crankshaft. Hopefully someone who knows the answer will chime in.

Inge=Howyadoin-Yes I've been told BMW put dampers on
the K75 for the vibration....do you have any information
on greasing the steering bearing... I read on " K1100lt 1993 "
that greasing the bearing can really help..Thanks for good info
in past

The K100/1100 got a rubber damper on the intermediate (or output) shaft, but as a jerk equalizer.
K75`s got weights on this shaft.

Can`t contribute much on the steering head bearings, exept preload.....when the work is finished.
