Was wondering, hopeing, that some of our English bretheren could help me out with something. Have been to England several time's, mostly come in at Hull, have also landed at Newcastle. Have found the boat to Newcastle is less comfortable than Hull and and a great deal more exspensive. We will be going to North Unberland this trip.
Have looked on a route planner, gave me approx. rideing time from Hull to Newcastle at 2 hours, think that is highway time. Will want to stay mostly on the "A" roads. With that in mind, what am I looking at to ride that route, our end destination is approx one hour west of Newcastle.
Just would like the approx rideing time, from your own experience's, will then figure in all the tea and potty breaks. This will all happen the last two weeks of September. Little late in the season, but any trip to England weather wise is a çrap shoot', was over there end April, Yorkshire Dales, had good and bad.
Thanks for any help and advice. _________________ 1995 K1100RS
