PRICE DROP TO $2,000.00 CASH
For sale is my 1994 K1100RS. I bought this bike three years ago with 20k miles because I always wanted one. Unfortunately I don't fit. At 6' 4" and 350 lbs I'm just too big.
The bike runs great and now has less than 22k miles. It just sits while my other bikes get ridden. I love the way the K1100RS looks but my old knees won't let me ride it.
I took it out today and one of the short front brake hoses burst ($51.00 at Max Bmw) so you will need to fix that. The other thing I noticed wrong today is that the pin on which the seat hinges and which the right side panel attaches to snapped off. The seat is still locked in by the catch on the left side but the side cover will not stay on.
The good:
Runs excellent, very powerful and smooth
ABS works fine
Remus Titanium exhaust, really sweet sound but not too loud
Koni rear shock
Bar risers
Chase Harper expandable tank bag
Corbin saddle
New hinges on the side cases
Decent Michelin Pilot Roads
Throttle lock
THe smoothest shifting BMW transmission I have ever ridden
Clear California title and current registration in my name
The bad:
Needs a front brake hose
Needs a seat pivot pin fabricated
Has numerous scratches and marks in the paint (Touch up paint and spray from Color Rite included)
Missing the windshield spoiler
Front brake rotor pins show wear ($125 in parts to replace).
Selling as is / where is in SImi Valley California for ADV riders only for $2200 cash only. If it doesn't sell here in the next week or so, I'll either fix it or part it out.
If you want to test ride it without front brakes you are welcome to, but you must provide a Class M license and put the full asking price in cash in my hands first. If you don't want it I will immediately hand back the cash after you return the bike from the test ride in the same condition as it was taken out.
PM here or email to gmrubinATpacbellDOTnet
It looks a bit better in the photos than real life ...But not too much better

Just want to report on this bike, It is very nice, exactly as he says it is, the bike fires up immediately, and sound good, throttle response if very good, good and smooth wear on the tires, for this price, someone will be getting a sweet deal!!! If it wasn't for the fact that i am relocating to WA state in Jan, and have two bikes already, It would have been sold today. _________________ 1993 K1100LT

K11 folks,
The seller has dropped his price to $1800 for this bike- a '94 with 22 thou on the odometer. Yeah, a few scratches here and there, but nothing that most of our bikes don't already have....and only 22,000 miles on it.
He might start parting it out.
Holee krap. What a flippin' deal. Going to email FD- maybe he has some interest. _________________ John & Cathy

Yeah
I dropped it to $1,800 on ADV. Same price here. I can't part it till the guy I sold my R1150GSA to picks it up the GSA and makes room in my garage.
The $1800.00 is for cash in my hand this weekend (Thanksgiving) at my driveway in Simi Valley, CA. I have no interest in dealing with shippers or anything else at that price.
CA title is clear and in my name. Registered till Sept. 2013
The used value of the farkles is almost $1000 by themselves.
Remus Titanium Exhaust $350 - $400
Koni Shock $250 - 300
Corbin saddle $125 - $175
Bar risers and tank bag $100
RS rear wheel and 50% Pilot Road tire for an LT $250
Matching front wheel and tire $175
System Bags $250
ABS controller $300
I think I have one of those big goofy windshields $100
There's $2000 before I get to any of the plastics and other mechanical parts including the working speedo / odo

Photo from several weeks ago, the day the brake hose popped. I have the side cover just needs the seat hinge pin fixed to mount it.
