| Hello all,,, Been on here looking around for a bit,, Thought I should introduce myself,,, Got my 93 K1100RS(69,000KM) about 5 weeks ago,, been running it like I stole it,,nice working machine,, weather has been good so I spent more time on the seat than working on the bike,,,, had my first breakdown last week,,,got a ride home ,, got my trailer ,, got the bike ,, it started and "loaded itself",, 1 fuel filter and a set of plugs later and it's humming like a sewing machine again,,I rolled it 3200km as of today and just changed the oil,,,, I LIKE THIS BIKE,,,and so does my wife,,,,,,Been reading some of the posts you guys have here ,,, it's nice to see a dedicated group of people willing to help with info,,,I lost a mirror already,, and have been looking around for another on the pc,, meanwhile I am going back to where mine disappeared in the ditch to see if I can recover any other parts,,bloody thing is going to cost a small fortune to replace ,,, I did pick up the housing, from the side of the road , but the guts of it went int the pucker brush and I didn't have time to scower the ditch,,, but I know where it happened,,,going to look tomorrow,,I did mount the mirror housing on it so it at least looks normal going down the road,,,I'm sure I will be asking questions about this "flying Brick " as it is so affectionately called as I go along,,,,won't bore you any more tonight,, happy trails,,,, |

Make sure you tether the mirrors on this time, use some stainless fishing line trace, fairly thick but flexible. Save you losing the mirrors or at least crashing to the floor in the garage every damned time my son walks within 20 metres of the thing ....gggrrrrr
