What are the options for mounting a GPS on a K11RS? I bought a suction cup mount thinking I'd be able to stick it to the gas tank but I guess there's just enough curvature to keep it from sticking. Handlebar mounting is almost non-existent.
I have a Parabellum windscreen and there's too much curve to it to use the suction mount. I saw this and considering this option:
Anything else out there available? _________________ 1994 K1100RS

I have one of these bolted to the mirror hole on the clutch handlbar thingy, Seeing as the mirrors are on the fairing the mounting hole was available.

That's exactly what I just came home with. I kinda like it but don't like the way it puts the GPS at an angle. I'm not sure how accurate the MPH will be like that. I also picked up a bar clamp ball and it doesn't put it any straighter in the same location. I'll pick up a piece of flat stock tonight and see what I can do with that. _________________ 1994 K1100RS

The angle won't make any difference to any readings, GPSs are better than that! _________________ K1100RS '97

Eh, I went low-tech like I've seen a couple of others did. I don't particularly like the wiring routing but it'll do for now. I'm taking a short trip tomorrow so that'll tell whether it'll work or not.

Actually it's completely behind my Parabellum windscreen. _________________ 1994 K1100RS
