So, I'm nearly done pulling the entire ABS system out of my 1993 RS, and I thought I'd share a few key points:
The system came right out, no real problems. I still have yet to remove the relays, and the one ABS light stays on. When I remove the relays it might go out, or ill pull the bulb. No biggie.
- I couldn't find a rear brake line to replace the rear ABS system, and had to make one. Not hard, but keep that in mind.
- i had some issues with the Goodridge non-abs kit I bought. It does not include a flexible brake line going to the handlebar. Is it possible that stock non-abs bike use a rigid line here? Also, they use two adapters to fit into the brakes; these had the wrong taper to fit.
- in the end I realized that I didn't need to buy the Goodridge kit; the flexible line coming out of the master cylinder is exactly the right size to scres into the line coming out of the splitter!

Sam,
When doing stainless braided lines I've always just pieced them together with parts from either
http://www.anplumbing.com/
or
http://www.summitracing.com/
On the sidecar rig I'm running a solid line from the master cylinder to the splitter, then flex stainless line to the front wheel and a short flex line to another solid line to the sidecar, then short flex line to the sidecar caliper. (there are two calipers on the sidecar disk, one hooked to the front brake and one to the rear.) (I also removed the ABS)
Just another option.

Yup, I would have made my own lines, but I thought a bolt in kit would be simpler and cheaper. In this case I ended up being wrong, for sure.
The surprise for me was realizing that I didn't need to make any lines for the front at all - the stock lines can be assembled to fit. I still ended up putting the SS lines in anyway, as I had bought the stuff.
