ive read about this for heat management. I wonder though if it will help the heat from coming out lower. Ideas?

The intent was to help channel the heat further out the rear, less coming up from under the seat, less coming out from the gap between the fuel tank and the side panels.

The heat has to escape somewhere, somehow. Normally if the "air dams" are installed properly(which most aren't after the bikes first full service....lol) they will help channel most of the radiator hot airflow out the side vents.

Thanks for the response..It's a nice ride..K11LT I did 18 hours in 2 days. It was wonderful. There is work to be done..I don't trust dealers much..
