Hi all, I'm back again after writing off my '96 K1100LT SE in may 2011.
I survived with just bruises but the bike was totalled.
After 2 years of missing my faithful old K I've just bought a '97 K1100LT SE with 49,000 miles on the clock. It's in perfect original condition having had only one previous owner who sadly passed away earlier this year. It came with the full compliment of BMW luggage.
It runs and rides like new and after half a day cleaning tar spots off etc, even looks like new with only minor blemishes to the mirror ends.
It's never carried a pillion in its life and the radio cassette has never been used. _________________ BMW K11..............Pure luxury on 2 wheels |
