Ok first Beemer question
Is there a certain type of tank bag installed onto these bikes? I realised magnetic ones are not any use
I would preferably want one that could be easily removed for everyday use with clips etc. should I be enquiring about a bagster type of system?
Any help is appreciated

Mal,
I have 3 or 4 different types in my garage that I have tried on my brick. They now just stay in my garage because due to the tank shape- they don't work very well. Each would sag to one side or the other and be a pain when refueling.
BMW made a specific bag that fits very well since it was made for the brick tank and makes refueling easier since the base piece has a hole to allow the cap to be opened.
I recently found a very good condition used one.
Your results may vary, but that is my experience after trying alternatives. You may have to look around for a while to find one. _________________ John & Cathy

The BMW branded tank bag is still available new, and it comes with the expansion section, rain cover, and tank side clips for the later model LT's and RS's.
Not all dealers handle them, I seem to remember that I got mine through Motobins. _________________ Ride safe.
