Does anyone know if there is a direct replacement Clarion radio/CD player available to fit the K1100LT SE? Tapes are a bit dated now!
Can an iPod be plugged into the original radio cassette player? _________________ BMW K11..............Pure luxury on 2 wheels |

Well, I can't say as I have heard of any "direct drop-in" replacement.
Though, others have replaced the unit with some "marine" units that will have a weatherproof remote.

I use a dummy cassette with wires to a 3.5mm jack, if they are still available.
CD's don't work on their edge due to road vibration. MP3's or smartphones are the way. _________________ Regards Tim,

I put a Pioneer DEH 3900 in my K with a marine remote and it plays fine vertical and was not that hard of a retrofit. _________________ Rich
