I was wondering if this forum was going to respond to this. I don't expect we have all the facts here but my initial reaction was I don't care how many bikers he needed to run over in this situation to protect his family.

I believe that started on the Henry Hudson Parkway- I grew up in NYC.

What a great black eye those a**hole idiots (can't bring myself to call them riders) gave all motorcycle riders. They created the entire situation with their mob-riding tactics.

Too bad the driver couldn't have called the police when this all started, but as Jim said, he was busy doing whatever it took to protect his family

I was reading reader comments on a Yahoo article written about the rider that was run over by the suv and is now paralized. NOT 1 comment was written against what the suv driver did.
I believe that what they did(were doing) belonged on a closed course, not a public highway.
