How about I try it on mine to confirm if that's the problem? Will it fit a K11RS?

Seems to be a common problem!

I don't know. Too rainy around here these days to do much serious riding. I've only had it up to about 8K so far. And I want to keep my license.

The stock rev limiter on a K75 is about 8,750. Back in the day, Luftmeister altered ICU's to get rid of that. Don't know if this bike has that or not. (Yet.) Twisted Evil

Luftmeister turbo'd some K1s. Pretty sure a K1 turbo would bolt up to a K1100. All you'd need to do is mount the K11's O2 sensor in the exhaust.

I know of a turbo K1 that'll be up for sale soon in California.

Is that yellow K100 a turbo?

Does it have an intercooler?

Interesting that they got rid of the relay box.

It's not so much how far you wind it with a turbo, but how quickly you get there. Very Happy

You know, I bought this mostly because I figured it would be the only opportunity I'd ever get to ride, much less own, a turbo K. However, what I've subsequently discovered is that a much more useful mod, since the turbo doesn't kick in until higher RPMs, is that the Lufty high performance cams. Having a smooth K75 that actually goes somewhere when you twist the throttle at 3,000 RPM is a wet dream for me.

The turbo is on top of the engine, along with the SU carburettor, no intercooler, (not possible with draw-through).
Electrics: one-off ignition box, starter relay and early twins indicator relay.
With the carburettor, it uses just a fuel tap, so no fuel pump, etc.
Absolutely basic, very discreet but it works very well!
