Folks-
I'm restoring a 1996 K1100RS. The fuel tank needed to be replaced. There are two vent tubes on the bottom of tank. One goes to the vent in filler cap ring. The fuel cap ring vent must be there only to allow water to drain out of the basin formed by the ring. Correct? The other seems to be connected to a check valve. What clamps are used on these vents? Which way does the check valve go? What is the check valve supposed to do?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you!
