Hey there, long time no see. Hope all is well.
I'm soon to install a new front tire on my 1993 K1100RS for the first time. Are the wheel bearings to be pulled, cleaned, and lubed? Or, are they the sealed type. I've been riding airheads for decades and always have to lube them during a tire change. Not sure about this K bike.
Thanks for any help. _________________

Given that my particular bike is now 20 years old... I proactively replaced my bearings with new. They aren't that expensive and it's not a tough job. As far as I knew they were original. I've never known lubricants to last for ever.
During next major maintenance I will probably tackle the steering head bearings for the same reason. Already did a spline lube... proactively as well. _________________ Thanks,
