If any of you deside to take a trip here in Ireland, I can not recommend it enough. Its 2500km in total. Best new Idea I ve seen in years in this country..2 more proper weedends left before the kids go back to school..where did the summer go?? |

Yep, I'm Corkboy over there (must change my username here to avoid confusion).
Theres a good group of us on the k100 site from Ireland, a few from Cork, some east/Dublin/North, and Cluain Si is from Limerick, who is probably the closest to you.
You just missed the Stradbally breakfast, but must of us are going to the September weekend, so do come along if you can. _________________ '08 K1200GT

Reg,
have a look through the thread I linked
http://www.k100-forum.com/t8244p50-irish-eccentrics-norn-iron-september-2014#100297
There is no agenda as such, except we will all be meeting up in Kilkeel on Friday for the weekend.
We stay in the hotel on the Friday night, have a run on the Saturday, dinner in the hotel on Saturday night, and home on the Sunday.
The Groupon deal for the hotel (Kilmorey Arms Hotel) is still on.
ComberJohn is going to organise a run for the Saturday, and Sunday will be heading home.
Your best bet is to post on the thread, introduce yourself, and see if you can link up with someone, probably Cluan Si, for the run up. _________________ '08 K1200GT

The threads a bit long and rambling, so it is buried in there.
It's Friday the 19th September.
If the hotel website says there are no vacancies, try ringing the hotel. One of the guys did this and had no problems booking in.
The guys from Cork normally meet Cluan Si (and Tom), in Mother Hubbards in Cashel. He lives in Pallas Green which might be closer to you. Don't worry too much as that can all be organised closer to the day. I think we are meeting the guys from Dublin up in Junction 1, after the M50. We are fairly fluid when it comes to organising
It looks like there could be 13 for the weekend, which is pretty good going.
Looking forwards to meeting you. _________________ '08 K1200GT
