These pics include the johnny blanket. It also shows a heat deflector that I cut out of a plastic trash receptacle. It is just the right size to throw the heat away from my calves. I also found that on the left side left of the tank and below the radio there is a lot of heat that comes through as well. I stuffed and taped some more insulation in there as well. At this point I found that I was getting heat on the left side at my ankles so for now I cut a piece of carpet and covered it attaching it with existing screws top and bottom. I also insulated under the left cover and it appears that the heat then travels back past me and escapes. It is still hot at a light. To alleviate some of that I installed a fan switch using the dash light switch. If anyone wants to put these pics up feel free.. |
