I need a couple of exhaust studs and nuts for my 1996 K1100RS. The MAX BMW Motorcycles diagram #18_0280 lists the part number for the nut as "11 62 1 744 323" (m8 sw12). However, I can't find the stud anywhere in their fiche. A web search seemed to indicate that the stud is m8x55, but didn't turn up any part number or way to order two of them. Can anyone point me to an online resource for the studs? Thanks.

Call MaxBMW in NH on Tuesday.

Ask to talk to Rusty Gill in the parts department. He knows older K bikes without looking at any manuals and will steer you straight.

A few years ago when I needed to replace my K bike clutch, he talked me out of buying some more expensive parts but strongly recommended some other (but cheaper) parts for my rebuild.
