During the return from my recent western states tour, I noticed the color inside the muffler is light grey rather than the customary black. Any idea of what's up with this?

Bike is running better - not as rich? Rich's tailpipe was always a light to medium gray - and his bike was always tuned to the nth degree...

Yes, the bike is running great, I just need to change the radiator hose which is patched.
