It lasts for about 30 seconds, only on cold starts.
Not once engine has been run for a while.
I can't seem to isolate the source, but suspect it coming from the exhaust.
Is this normal ? |

Quite possible, a cold start with the cold start lever enriches the fuel supply and some may not get burnt, hence the smell from the exhaust.
I don't get it on my K75/K1100 but that is not to say it doesn't happen. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

It may be a coincidence but I had the same thin on my K11 and what it was due to was the bike being left in a sunny position and when I moved it to ride away there was a wiff of petrol from the filler cap which was venting vapour into the atmosphere _________________ 1997 K1100LT
