I can't quote the thread specs, but it is located on the underside of the water/oil pump at the front of the bock. _________________ Ride safe.

Hi Scott...
Hope 2018 is going well for you so far ! ie: No FLU, wood for the fire, beans on the shelf,, and a winning Power Ball ticket in the pocket !! You and Mrs coming in May ??
Using a mirror in a cold darkened garage, thats what/where I thought it was, but needed a confirmation. When the weather warms a bit, say to 20F or so, Im going to remove it and replace it with a "T". Then reinstall the OEM sender on one leg, and a VDO sender on the other. That way I'll have a Light and a gage to keep me aware of the pressure. I know it sounds like "belt and suspenders" but I nearly cooked my R100 when the Oil Light failed (wire??) sometime after the "start" and somewhere along a country gravel/stone road the pan was punctured..... BoBo here didnt notice how warm I was getting until it was NEARLY too late. I DO NOT want a similar event on the K, and my new G650 has a full "pan/engine" protection panel....
So anyway, thats the convoluted logic behind this thread.... Thanks for the confirmation...
Very best Regards...see you in May (i Hope)......../ Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

You may find it a tight fit, as the oil sensor is the one closest to the block. The outer one is for the temp gauge.
A quick search looks like the tread is an M12x1.5
As far as May goes, I will be there, the Mrs will be a maybe..... new job so unsure if she can get the time off. _________________ Ride safe.
