Hello OG Folks;
Long time lurker here. I've been looking through the tech forum but so far my search has not yielded answers.
Subject: 1995 K1100LT. My red brake light came on about two weeks ago. I had no brake light nor tail/plate light. Checking bulbs I did find the tail light had failed. Changed the bulb and "YES!" it lighted up, but still no brake light. Meter shows continuity with the bulb/socket just no juice getting to it.
Main fuse panel is flowing properly.
Any pointers?

When you turn on the ignition switch, does the brake warning light come on?
If it comes on, does it then turn off after you test BOTH the front/rear brake switches? or does it turn off after only one is checked.
I'm suspecting the BMU is the issue.
