I was doing my Spring inspection today and found that my brake and tail light is dead. It's not the bulb and it's not the fuse. I assume it's probably the BMU? Should I remove it, clean contacts, try it, or just find a new one?

You did know that there are 2 fuses associated with the tail/brake lights and BMU unit. #1 and #2 are both related to BMU operation.
