How in heck do you get it back onto gearbox shaft.
Can't seem to get it on.[/u]

If you can get the u-joint lined up so that the splines fit in the yoke, you have to give it a slight rap with a block of wood or something to "pop" the yoke onto the snap ring on the output shaft.

Got it done.
I had to file the female end of UJ.
Don't know how they got damaged.
Popped in no problem.

You should phase the front and rear U-joints:
