Any suggestions for removing the black plastic covering cap (#16) over the handlebar vibration dampers on a K1100RS without damaging the part? Thanks.

Turn it (clockwise) while pulling on it - it should come off pretty easily.

Hit it with a heat gun for 5-10 Seconds; that always worked for me.

If you do wreck them - just paint the ends black. Looks good - lasts a long time.
