I installed new driving lights!
The job was easy. A little mod to the plastic piece under the fairing and reinforcing with some aluminum stock. A couple of stainless steel bolts and they were mounted up. The wiring was easy too.
Plus I washed the bike yesterday and it looked so good I couldn't resist a few pics. Not bad for ~90,000 miles, eh?

Great looking bike, and nice upgrade with the lights.
A little tape, sandpaper and black spray enamel would go a long way on those cases too. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Looks a cool mod and great bike for 90K. Which lights did you choose? _________________ 1980 CB900FA

Well, they are Wal-Mart cheapies. $15 for the set. I figured I would see how well they do, and then when the time comes I can replace them with Hellas or PIAAs, but for now these should do. I will be doing some night riding next week so I can let you know how well they light up the road. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

yeeser its looking like it wants to eat some miles... day miles and night miles...
like the red knee pads...
when you look into the hella or the piaa you may want to consider catz xls round or xlo oval... they are the top japanese lamps for the tuner car crowd... more so than piaa...
they are inexpensive and they are really nice...
here is the ebay store link...
http://stores.ebay.com/ALL-CATZ-LIGHTS
or you can email the owner directly and get some custom stuff and better deals than thru ebay...

Red knee pads? I don't need no stinking knee pads! Thats just a plain tank.
