Just to give you a little perspective, you are 37 times more likely per mile to suffer a fatality than someone riding in a cage. How many cagers think YOU'RE a maroon?

Cheers! Very Happy

I'm sure most of the folks traveling in "cages" think I'm stupid for
riding a bike. And if I studied statistics I'm sure there would be
little reason for owning much less riding a motorsycle...
But I'm an illogical, stubborn, person who still derives pleasure
from occasionally engaging in death defying antics. Long live my
riding years...

I may be ready for the return to my youthful love of loud pipes,
& Harley Davidson motor company bikes...

Now, I know I'm not the hippest on the latest slang, but I have no idea what a MAROON is. Does it have anything to do with that boy-band Maroon 5?

I must be a moron. Wink

Does this ring a bell?

Bugs always called people maroons.

"What a maroon." is a classic Bugs quote.

I got it right away. But then Looney Tunes was my favorite show on TV for about 30 years. Until the bastages cancelled it!

Youngsters today have no respect for the old ways! oh yeah, you can get EVERY Looney Tunes cartoon ever made on various DVD collections. I do not have them all, but most. My 6 year old and I cuddle on the couch and laugh like there is no tomorrow. she is learning the ways of the masters. Looney tunes first, then the Marx Brothers!

So THAT'S it. I'm just culturally deprived.

Also not hip to the OLD slang.
