Hi All
Recently bought a 92 K1100LT with 54,000k on the clock. (Yes its the fast red one.) - its now done 60,000k
Its a lovely bike but I had some problems with the ABS (I) which has recently been resolved.
On Sunday, went for a ride - after about 70k the ABS lights came on. At the first stop for coffee my mate tells me the rear light is not working - brake light OK.
Bought a new bulb (not BMW but right specs) and fitted it. NO go.
Checked bulb - good
Checked fuse - good
Tracked and checked wires and connections to centre of bike - good.
Does anyone have any idea where I might check next - I'm puzzled (not always difficult) and would like to fix this so I can go for a ride.

Sounds to me like you need to replace the lamp monitor unit, under the tank in the electric box.
I think the part # 61311459003. It's listed as bulb testing device.
That's my .02 unless someone has a better idea.
