After waiting two weeks AND specifying only tires made in Germany AND getting an acknowledgment from a good supplier in NC, my front is Made In Brazil.

I've done my homework and read about the problems with this Brazilian tire. Should I run it anyway?

For what it's worth, I would run it.

The brazillian rubber is the best of the world...
Just remember, Henry Ford went to Amazonia in the early '20 to install a rubber industry.
But he closed the doors very quikly, after some Malaria cases among his employers.
Don't worry, Mike, the tires made in Brazil are made to the toughest roads and hardest climates. The USA asphalt will be "easy cake" to these tires...

Guilherme.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Guilherme. The tires are on the bike now, and awaiting some scuff time.

I don't think it can be much different than the German piece. I have to say that I am not real nuts about the life I am getting on the Metzlers. Just over 6000 miles and the rear is totally gone and the front is just a hair away from the tread wear indicators. And we are talking old fart that rides like a geezer.
