NUTZ,

The floggin, flippin oil $$$$ finally got to us. Today we traded in our 2 year old Dodge turbodiesel, manual trans truck on a high mpg vehicle.

It sucks.

BEST truck we have ever owned.

Over 600# of torque. 7000# truck that will PUSH you back in the seat on accel.

Well I guess that I will always be Sugarhillctd, even though I don't own one any more.

John

I've had a 2000 Insight since 2002 - and would have had one long before 2000 if they had been available. I've looked at electrics for years, but there just isn't much out there with the range I need for work - yet.

Had a hankering for a Vespa since I was 14 - guess I'll have to get one someday soon.

I've still got my 2000 Chevy 2500 4x4. Will probably need to keep it until such time as I get rid of my camper and boat. Don't quite think that I can pull either one with the brick. Laughing

Yeah, I am facing the same problem.

Picked up a 2004 Saturn VUE for the wife and plan on getting a compact for me.......one I can fit in anyway.

But the Jeep has the 2" receiver hitch, Thule rack, etc etc.

Putting that stuff on the VUE does not excite me.

Yeesh, just be glad you don't live in Europe - our petrol is eye-poppingly expensive. Even the K is starting to look like an extravagance here Sad
