The Arvada Center (arts and entertainment) has an old motorcycle display running until September. Went up there with my boys and took some pictures I thought some of you might be interested in. Seems the bikes belong to 2 Arvada residents. There are about 35 bikes in the display not all of which I took pictures of.
An Indian.
A Boss Hoss with a Chevy 350 V-8.
My boys (Matthew and Jacob) with a John Player Special Norton.
Honda Rune. This thing really looks like a piece of art.
Benelli 6 900cc.
BSA Rocket 3. I had the Triumph version of the bike; 1973 Trident T150. Dated my wife with it.
The bike that killed T. E. Lawrence. A Brough Superior.
Laverda Jota. 900cc triple. I've always wanted one of these.
BSA 441 Victor. Had one of these for a while years ago.
Ural side car set up. In the back ground is a Maico and a Harley Davidson military bike built for the British military.
Bozo the clowns bike. Beautiful example of a really ugly color scheme. This is such a nice bike I can't believe anyone picked this out as a factory delivered paint job.
Vincent Black Shadow.
Ariel Square Four. This is the bike for me.
Gilera. I like the sentiment on the wall above the bike.
Harley drag bike. Even an irrigation pump can look beautiful.
Me and the boys with the Indian. I don't know what's wrong with me, I've been shrinking over the last couple of years I used to be much taller than them.

If you ask me (which you didn't) that's the Paris Hilton of K bikes. I agree with your assessment 100%. Did you find that specimen in the "Hall of Ugly" exhibit?

Its the combination of the yellow wheels and that terrible, ill-fitting condom-looking front wheel cowling thing.
Ugh.

The one good thing about the color of the K1 is no one could ever say they didn't see it coming. _________________ 1995 K1100RS

Great pictures, and thanks for sharing!
This Norton JP Special is the one with the rotary engine?
Post Scriptum: I like that K1 color scheme ...
Nothing like it on the roads!
