any k11og posters gonna ride the high sierras this weekend...
i have not missed an indy500 since 1975... last year... my 33rd consecutive... will have been my last... so im gonna watch it on tv for the 1st time this sunday... that leaves saturday and monday to go where we have not been before...
this is the plan...
ccw on saturday... the 108 east to the 395 to the 89 and back on the 4... fuel in cow creek... fuel in topaz lake... fuel in arnold...
ccw on monday... the 4 east to the 89 and back on the 88... fuel in arnold... fuel in topaz lake... fuel in pine grove...
we would do the 4 both ways and monitor pass both ways plus 1 on different days...
let me know if any k110g is gonna be up there saturday or monday for possible meet up...

cant believe what im seeing...
not only did it rain on the clean bug eye brick... its raining and snowing on our planned route...
we are going rain or shine... but snow on unfamiliar technical mountain roads riding 2 up may need some rethinking...

I am so sorry that I did not see this thread sooner. I am not sure how I missed it. I live in Gardnerville, NV, so all the roads that you mention are close to my house.

IMHO, the last thing you ever want to do is risk your life riding on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day or any 3-day weekend. Too many cars, too many drunks, too many people on cellphones...... _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I live 45 minutes from Santa Cruz in southern San Jose. I'll be riding the Harley, though because I'm saving my tread for a boat load of rides in a few weeks that I'm taking the beemer on. _________________ M N B
